Department Overview
We are looking for Engineering Interns Tool Installation & Equipment Ramp to join our the team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Automation and will be based in Fremont CA. This is a fully on-site in office role 5 days a week.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist AME engineers in the flawless installation validation and rampup of highvolume manufacturing equipment.
- Perform handson mechanical tasks including equipment setup basic troubleshooting alignment activities and process checks.
- Collect data document findings and provide clear status updates to AME team members.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to ensure safe efficient and timely tool installations.
- Travel as needed to support equipment at supplier or remote manufacturing locations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in an Engineering Field (Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Electrical or similar).
- Students working toward an Associates degree with plans to transfer to a Bachelors in Engineering program will be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with strong handson skills and interest in highvolume equipment.
- Creative problemsolver with high energy and a strong desire to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- An interest in manufacturing environments lab work robotics or automation.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems tooling or electromechanical assemblies.
- Must be fluent in English ability to converse in Korean or Japanese is a plus
