The Role:

Were looking for a self-motivated superstarPharmacistto join the amazing Pocketpills team.


Job Duties:

  • Provide virtual consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously
  • Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations
  • Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an efficient manner
  • Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes
  • Provide guidance to pharmacy students through shadowing opportunities direct coaching and timely constructive feedback to support their learning and professional growth.
  • Partner with pharmacy manager and operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement
  • Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and team members as needed to resolve
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws rules and regulations
  • Proactively collaborate with the team to ensure continuity of care and minimize therapy interruptions for patients.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
  • Must hold and maintain registration as a Part A Pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a pharmacy practice
  • Passion for providing optimal patient-centered care to all patients
  • Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a can-do attitude.
  • Quick to adapt to evolving technology and able to troubleshoot or navigate systems without letting it impact performance.
  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative team-first approach and positive attitude
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to results
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  • Flexible and responsive to changing priorities and business needs
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication abilities

Compensation for this part-time role ranges from $48.00 to $50.00 per hour and is determined based on job-related knowledge skills experience and market alignment.


Compensation & Status

  • Hourly Rate:$48.00 $50.00/hour (based on experience knowledge skills and market alignment)
  • Status:Part-time up to 24 hours/week
  • Availability:Monday to Friday based on operational needs
  • Hours:8:00 am 4:00 pm PST
