Join a Walk-In Care team committed to customer service and patient-centered care. This continually growing clinic provides healthcare services to a variety of patients in both the Walk-In Care and Family Medicine settings. The NP/PA will collaborate with a great group of fellow advanced practice clinicians physicians and support staff. The Candidate will be required to rotate among other area walk-in campuses for coverage (ND & MN licensure and DEA required.)
- Must be able to care for all ages within scope of practice. Experience in family medicine walk-in care emergency medicine or urgent care setting is preferred!
- 0.3 FTE 12 hours a week Part-time status
- Weekend coverage only; Providing care 9am 5pm on Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.
- Patient volume from 25-35 per 12-hr shift
- No call
- EPIC electronic medical record

- ND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage at other Walk-In Clinics
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment knowledge and decision- making skills the NP/PA works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. NP/PAs provide health care to individuals and families emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients co-workers and others.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelors/Masters degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
- Ability to care for all ages within scope is required. Experience in Family Medicine Walk-in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred!
- ND & MN licensure and DEA required for cross coverage
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND & MN
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in ND & MN
- Current certification in CPR
- National certification in applicable area.
- Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
