Job Overview

This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP Safety and Classic Packaging procedures and policies. Assists the Slitter Machine operator in the operation of the Slitter.

Duties

Includes but not limited to the following:

• Maintain acceptable production levels and quality of product while operating machine in the safest manner possible.
• Must check all the machines safety functions at the beginning of their shift to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
• Quality must be checked at each restart of the machine.
• All paperwork and computer entries must be complete and accurate.

• You Help maintain production levels and quality.
• Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verify correct materials are being used for each job.
• Check quality of rolls as they finish on the slitter and palletize.
• Keep Slitter area clean and orderly.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Safely operate a variety of material moving equipment like pallet jacks hoists to transport and lift materials finished products.
• Perform any other job duties as assigned by shift supervisor.

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty accurately and in time to meet the companys target deadlines. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge skill and/or ability required.

• The ability to read and comprehend production orders.
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to learn new skills and apply them across a range of applications.
• Must show good judgment and have good communication skills.
• The ability to stand for an entire work shift (excluding breaks).
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.

Work Schedule:
2nd Shift
Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm

3rd Shift
Sunday -Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 -$18.00 per hour $1.00 Shift Differential for 2nd
$2.00 Shift Differential Pay for 3rd
