A Day in the Life of a Non-Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist-MLS/MT

This role supports patient care by performing specimen collection analytical testing and accurate result reporting in a hospital laboratory. Work is completed under the supervision of certified laboratory professionals while following established procedures and regulatory standards. The environment is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail quality control and instrument maintenance. Daily collaboration occurs with nurses providers and laboratory leadership to communicate results and address patient needs. Responsibilities span multiple laboratory disciplines requiring adaptability organization and a commitment to continuous learning.

From blood banking for transfusions to advanced molecular diagnostics our team is vital to hospital operations patient safety and treatment outcomes. Education and Experience

Required

• Working knowledge of standard laboratory principles instrumentation and procedures required
• Bachelors degree in chemical biological clinical or medical laboratory science (International candidates must provide a foreign degree equivalency certificate)
• A copy of the highest diploma or transcript of degree obtained

Preferred

• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory
