We are looking for an experienced software engineer to join the merchant decisioning team and build a scalable platform/infrastructure that is critical for underwriting and decisioning hundreds of thousands of businesses on a daily basis. As part of the team you will be working closely with Data Science Growth and Risk stakeholders to efficiently serve the product initiatives that serve Parafins portfolio and empower stakeholders with controls to determine Parafins growth and bottom line.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • You will own our Python-based underwriting and application decisioning product and drive its development.

  • You will closely define the architecture and underlying infrastructure all the way from the technologies we use to the design principles that we apply.

  • You will work closely with our data scientists to build a platform that is reliable scalable and easily iterable.

  • You will be integrating ML Infrastructure into the platform to make DS-driven decisioning more powerful and intelligent.

What Were Searching For:

  • 5 years of experience working in an engineering role

  • You care deeply about building high-quality infrastructure with relevant experience and take immense pride in your craft.

  • You are comfortable owning and driving the development of the product from 0 to 1.

  • You thrive in ambiguity and have a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.

  • You are excited about working on a small team and helping us set the foundations for the company.
