Permanent Trade Salesperson – Campbellfield – 35 40hr !

Job Connect is seeking a permanent Trade Centre Salesperson on behalf of our client a well-established distributor of engineered Plumbing Supplies in the Campbellfield area.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager you will deliver outstanding face-to-face and remote customer service in a busy trade environment. This is a customer-focused role involving counter sales order processing technical product matching and light inventory duties. You will work in a fast-paced setting where safety accuracy and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Use of phone email and computer Sales / Catalogue system (Pronto)
• Provide exceptional service at the trade counter through face-to-face selling and developing long term relationships with repeat customers
• Promote the full range of products and providing solutions to customer problems.
• Match customer samples to products using catalogues and measure objects with vernier calipers (including converting imperial to metric).
• Assist with invoicing packing slips payments and quoting.
• Assist with branch with receiving new stock and picking.

An Ideal Applicant will bring:

• Previous experience in customer service or sales ideally within trade supplies plumbing engineering tools or a similar field.
• Practical understanding of measurements (metric and imperial) and an ability to use calipers or familiarity to learn it quickly.
• Basic knowledge of purchase orders and stock intake processes.
• Solid computer skills (Word Excel essential; experience with inventory/ERP systems such as Pronto is a bonus).
