Job Summary
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Dozer Operator to join our earthworks teams on busy project in Hailsham East Sussex. You will operate crawler tractors / dozers to carry out grading levelling topsoil stripping and bulk earthworks activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operating dozers for grading levelling pushing earth or debris and excavating
- Forming stockpiles excavating ponds topsoil stripping and grading public open spaces
- Grading and levelling ground surfaces to specified elevations and slopes for roadways and building pads
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicating service requirements to site management in good time
- Maintaining plant to a high standard and reporting any defects immediately
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Crawler Tractor / Dozer*
- CSCS-affiliated NPORS Dozer Operator card
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE:
- GPS machine control experience
- CPCS / NPORS* Excavator /- 10t Tracked
- CPCS / NPORS* Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS* Ride-On Roller
- CPCS / NPORS* Telehandler
- 5 years of experience
