Mathematics Teacher - Cambridge - September 2026

An exceptional Secondary & Sixth Form school in Cambridge graded Outstanding in its most recent Ofsted is seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher for a September 2026 start. This school is recognised for its strong academic culture exceptionally calm behaviour environment and a rigorous knowledge-rich curriculum. Mathematics is a flagship subject with consistently strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes. Pupils are ambitious and engaged and teaching is underpinned by evidence-informed practice including explicit instruction and regular retrieval.

This Secondary & Sixth Form Teaching Opportunity is a Permanent Mathematics Teacher role within a high-performing department.

  • Supporting intervention programmes to raise attainment at GCSE and A-Level


What the school is looking for:

  • A Mathematics Teacher with UK QTS or completing a UK-recognised training route
  • A strong academic profile ideally a 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics or related field
  • Experience teaching within a UK secondary school environment
  • Evidence of delivering structured lessons and securing measurable outcomes
  • Confidence operating within clear and consistent behaviour systems
  • Full right to work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available


Salary: MPS 40317 to 52300 UPS up to 62496 with potential TLR opportunities for experienced Mathematics Teachers
