JOB TITLE: CNC Machining Technician - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $27.45/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate precision aerospace components

• Interpret and work from mechanical drawings blueprints and technical specifications

• Utilize G & M code programming to support machining operations

• Operate manual shop equipment including press shear band saws grinders knee mills and lathes

• Support fabrication of prototype and development parts using steel aluminum and composite materials

• Collaborate with shop supervisors and internal customers to prioritize and schedule tasks

• Communicate job status and progress updates as required

• Work in a team-oriented environment to meet competing project demands and deadlines

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

• Minimum 3 years of experience with CNC programming and machining operations

• Experience in technical fabrication including metal fabrication mechanical assembly and composites

• Hands-on experience using manual machining tools (knee mill band saw lathe hand tools)

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation

• Proficiency in a Windows-based environment (MS Office Suite for communication scheduling and data tracking)

• High School Diploma or equivalent with additional technical training (Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred)

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts

• Flexibility to work overtime evenings weekends and onsite daily

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
