Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer provides expert installation troubleshooting repair and maintenance support to ensure reliable machine performance and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install CNC machine tool systems and all accessories at customer sites
• Troubleshoot and identify causes of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic or application issues
• Coordinate resolutions and suggest repairs or replacements for CNC tools
• Provide on-site and remote support to customers distributors and colleagues
• Manage projects and deliver training as needed
• Assist with trade shows and service support as required
• Travel 100% including overnight and occasional weekend trips
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Electrical Mechanical Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years machine tool maintenance/technology experience (electrical and mechanical)
• 3 years remote technical support in the machine tool industry
• 3 years installation/maintenance of machining centers including CNC geometry checks and adjustments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC programming/troubleshooting control systems FANUC Controls and power circuits
• Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
• OSHA-10 Certification in General Industry or Construction
