Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineerwith proven experience on State of California projects. This is a multi-year contract position that offers flexibility to work anywhere within California with a preference for candidates based in Sacramento.
This role is ideal for candidates familiar with California state systems and regulations and seeking a long-term contract opportunity. Candidates will be able to work from any location within California with a preference for those in or near Sacramento.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test software applications to meet project requirements.
- Support system enhancements and ongoing improvements.
- Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working on State of California projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3 or more years of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
