Job Summary
Position Overview
The Return Mail Processing Administrator supports the Customer Experience Services team by managing the intake sorting scanning and data capture of inbound return mail. This role is critical to a new initiative focused on analyzing return mail volume and trends to improve customer data accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Open sort and prepare return mail for scanning in accordance with established procedures
Operate scanning equipment and document management systems to digitize mail contents
Accurately capture and log key data points from each piece of return mail
Flag and escalate items requiring additional review (e.g. checks legal correspondence account updates)
Maintain organized physical and digital records in compliance with company retention policies
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Collaborate with CX leadership and peers to help refine processes as the function matures
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a mailroom data entry or administrative support role preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
Basic computer proficiency; experience with document scanning software a plus
Reliable punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday
Ability to bend reach and move through a mailroom/processing environment
Ability to operate computer and scanning equipment
Ability to lift and move mail bins and boxes (up to 30 lbs.)
