Job Summary

Job Overview: Senior Pega Engineer/ LSA (Contract)

Location: New York NY (Many are Hybrid requiring 2 3 days in Manhattan/Jersey City)
Duration: 12 18 Months

Core Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise applications using Pega Infinity (versions 24.1 are currently in high demand).
Framework Implementation: Deep work with specialized Pega frameworks such as CLM (Client Lifecycle Management) and KYC (Know Your Customer) particularly for banking clients.
State-of-the-Art Features: Implement Pega Constellation (the latest UI architecture) and integrate AI-driven decisioning (Customer Decision Hub).
Modernization: Leading migrations from older Pega PRPC versions (7.x) to Pega Cloud or Infinity 24 environments.
Technical Governance: Conduct design and code reviews to ensure the Guardrail compliance score remains high (typically >90).

Required Technical Skills

Years of Experience: 8 12 years in IT with 5 years specifically in Pega development.
Certifications: Mandatory CSSA; strongly preferred CLSA (Lead System Architect).
Integration: Extensive experience with REST/SOAP connectors Services and sophisticated Data Transforms.
Backend/DevOps: Solid understanding of PostgreSQL/Oracle and CI/CD pipelines (Pega Deployment Manager).
Front-End: Proficiency in JavaScript CSS and React (specifically for Constellation-based projects).
