Job Summary
Now Hiring LVNs
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at SCI Dallas Facility in Pennsylvania.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: 3 Months
Shifts: 8-hour shifts for a balanced work-life schedule
Pay Rate: Earn up to $55 per hour for all taxable hours
Travel Pay Options:
- Housing Stipend: $33/hr. (taxable) $1080 (tax-free) $2400/40hrs (33/27)
- With housing: $48 per hour taxable
(Must be 50 or more miles from permanent residence to qualify for housing allowance.) - Over 40hrs. $55/hr. base-$82.50/hr. OT
Responsibilities:
- Care for ill injured or convalescing patients
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications:
- Active PA LPN license
- IV Certification
- Current - BLS/CPR
- Skills checklist
- Copy or drivers license and SS card
- Must be able to pass background/ urine drug screen
