Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as Principal Full Stack Engineer acting as a key technical leader within the IT Application Solutions team.
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable robust API platforms and web applications ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java and Python.
- Build modern mobile-responsive front-end interfaces utilizing Angular and IONIC.
- Architect and deploy serverless and containerized solutions on AWS using services such as Lambda ECS Fargate Step Functions and DynamoDB.
- Participate actively in all SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) ceremonies contributing to capacity planning and iteration commitments.
- Automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure using Docker and CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code).
- Mentor and provide strategic technical guidance to development team members promoting best practices in concurrent programming and SDLC methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally ensuring transparent communication and high team engagement including participation in video meetings.
- Required to work onsite in Washington DC on a hybrid basis for critical SAFe ceremonies and team collaboration.
- Demonstrate expertise in J2EE technologies (Hibernate Servlets JMS JDBC) and both SOAP and REST web service development.
- Leverage AWS-native services including Kinesis Streams S3 API Gateway and EC2.
- Desired: Experience with enterprise API gateway solutions.
