Job Summary (Lead E-Commerce Engineering - AEM)
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce engineers.
- Set technical standards and conduct code reviews.
- Remain hands-on in architecture and development focusing on React front-end and modern APIs.
- Own the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): design build test deploy and optimize.
- Platform & Architecture Ownership:
- Architect and enhance e-commerce capabilities (catalog checkout payments OMS).
- Drive and manage integrations with CRM booking engines logistics Salesforce Commerce Cloud and third-party APIs.
- Ensure performance SEO accessibility (WCAG) and reliability across digital platforms.
- Manage CDN/edge solutions (Akamai) event-driven and microservices architectures.
- Adobe & MarTech Focus:
- Own and manage the Adobe Experience ecosystem (AEM Adobe Experience Platform Journey Optimizer Analytics Target).
- Enable personalization experimentation and analytics to optimize user experience and conversions.
- Partner with UX Content Merchandising and Engagement teams for personalized digital experiences.
- Operational Excellence:
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines test automation and monitoring/observability.
- Enforce compliance with PCI PII encryption and data privacy standards.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices (AWS Kubernetes Terraform).
- Strategy & Business Alignment:
- Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Influence product roadmaps using data-driven insights.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI-driven search AI-assisted testing edge solutions).
- Required Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of software engineering experience with 3 years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) (3 years).
- Strong hands-on experience with React Java/Spring Boot and modern backend patterns.
- Experience with microservices SPAs event-driven/serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud CRM OMS integrations API Gateways GraphQL OAuth CDN DNS SSL Akamai/edge computing.
- Cloud/DevOps experience with AWS Docker Kubernetes Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab Bitbucket) and monitoring (Dynatrace Splunk Grafana).
- Automation and QA using Playwright BrowserStack Xray; performance/security testing (K6 Lighthouse CI SonarQube).
- Hands-on with AI tools (Copilot OpenAI Kiro AI) for development/testing/analytics.
- Strong understanding of PCI WCAG PII encryption and security best practices.
- Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid: Onsite in Fort Lauderdale FL (Tuesday Thursday).
