Job Summary
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Falmouth MA 02540 United States
Contract: 13 Weeks (Temp to Hire)
Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 07:30 AM 04:00 PM / 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
- Schedule: 5x8 Hours (MondayFriday)
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- 40 hours per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using high-frequency sound waves. The role involves patient care image acquisition and assisting physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for ultrasound procedures
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and evaluate image quality
- Assist physicians during specialized procedures (e.g. biopsies)
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning
- Manage equipment supplies and workflow efficiency
- Follow infection control safety and hospital protocols
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- ARDMS Certification (Required)
- Registered in Abdomen and OB/GYN
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- All certifications must be active and current
