NurseAmerica is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to step into a key leadership role at a well-established behavioral health facility in the Texas Hill Country. • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services
• Lead mentor and develop nursing staff and leadership team
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (TJC CMS and state)
• Oversee staffing scheduling and workforce planning
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in executive leadership and strategic planning

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• 3 years RN experience (6 years preferred)
• Behavioral health experience required (psychiatric addiction recovery inpatient/outpatient etc.)
• 2 years of progressive leadership or management experience required
• Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience preferred
