About This Role
NurseAmerica is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to step into a key leadership role at a well-established behavioral health facility in the Texas Hill Country. Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services
Lead mentor and develop nursing staff and leadership team
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (TJC CMS and state)
Oversee staffing scheduling and workforce planning
Drive quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in executive leadership and strategic planning
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
3 years RN experience (6 years preferred)
Behavioral health experience required (psychiatric addiction recovery inpatient/outpatient etc.)
2 years of progressive leadership or management experience required
Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience preferred
