Accessory Interior DRE Validation

Position OvervieweShocan is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accessory Interior DRE Validation to lead validation activities for interior systems. This role will be responsible for ensuring all interior components and subsystems meet functional quality and timing requirements through comprehensive validation from component to vehicle level.

• Lead validation activities for interior systems as the primary interface between engineering suppliers test labs and vehicle programs
• Develop manage and maintain DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report) for interior subsystems
• Coordinate and execute physical validation activities with internal and external test facilities
• Track test progress document results and drive issue resolution to meet program timelines
• Obtain test quotes create purchase orders and manage test requests with vendors
• Support cost estimation activities for new programs and proposals
• Represent engineering teams in validation reviews and cross-functional meetings
• Develop and maintain validation timing plans aligned with program milestones
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering CAE quality manufacturing purchasing and suppliers
• Ensure effective communication across internal teams and external partners
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
• Support documentation and reporting of validation results and concerns

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or related field
• 3 years of experience in automotive validation engineering / testing
• Hands-on experience with interior component validation (e.g. instrument panels door trims consoles seating systems interior trims)
• Experience working with suppliers test labs and cross-functional teams
• Ability to operate and support validation using lab/test equipment
• Strong project coordination and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook)
• Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills

• Experience managing full vehicle interior validation programs
• Familiarity with validation processes from component to vehicle level
• Experience in fast-paced product development environments

• Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic/local) to support suppliers and test activities
