Job Title: Registered Sleep Technologist
Location (Onsite Remote or Hybrid): Detroit MI (ONSITE)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working Hours: 730PM-630AM
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hrs
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
- Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)
- Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages respiratory events limb movements etc.)
- Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation
- Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring
- Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT
- BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred.
- Able to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines required
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED
- Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) required.
- BCLS Certification.
