Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Sleep Technologist
Location (Onsite Remote or Hybrid): Detroit MI (ONSITE)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working Hours: 730PM-630AM
Total Weekly Hours: 40 hrs

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)
Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages respiratory events limb movements etc.)
Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation
Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring
Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT
BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred.
Able to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines required

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED

Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) required.
BCLS Certification.
