Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Lead Systems Integration and Test Engineer who will be a member of a dynamic team working on En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System providing the foundation for NexGen functions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test procedures to verify software functionality performance and compliance with requirements.

• Design and develop scenarios for use in PR/CR Verification and Regression Tests

• Collaborate with developers system engineers and schedulers to ensure testability of requirements and alignment with project timelines.

• Track and report test execution status generating detailed test reports and artifact packages for stakeholders and clients.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as HP ALM Selenium or equivalent.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 4 years of professional experience; or a masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline; for example engineering computer science

• Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer

• Candidates must be US Citizens

• Experience leading and directing activities of a team

• Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development Process

• Experience in systems engineering software engineering test engineering artificial intelligence and machine learning

• Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems

• Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software complex systems

• Strong communication skills to interface with internal and external customers

Desired Skills:

• The successful candidate will possess integration skills and the ability to work independently in the following categories of integration:

  • New system functionality integration

  • Use and test case development

  • Scenario design and development

  • PR verification

  • Regression testing

  • Data Reduction & Analysis

  • Analyzing identified issues and helping to determine a solution with System Engineering and Software Engineering

  • Problem Determination

• A good academic understanding and/or exposure to system engineering practices to contribute to and/or assist with system integration requirements engineering operational and decision analysis systems definition requirements baseline control and management.

• Highly organized demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment

• Air Traffic Knowledgeand experience working on Air Traffic programs

• Experience with conducting formal tests with a government agency / customer
