Join our growing team of Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineers solving supplied material issues impacting our on-site position will focus on resolution of nonconformance in supplied material ensuring root cause and corrective actions are will be a key player working with Operations Quality Program Management and Engineering to solve problems on our nations most advanced defense systems.

What You Will Do

Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.

Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings layered process assessments and nonconforming material reviews.

Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.

Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation robust root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented

Assist with quarantine containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.

Determine quality requirement flow-downs for special process purchase orders originating from the factories.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in related Quality Operations Engineering or related technical discipline

Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes

Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System

Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers customers and internal teams

Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements build integration test and delivery

High computer proficiency including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel PowerPoint Word)

Six Sigma Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE CQM/OE CSQE CQA CRE etc.)

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
