What is the role
On the back of strong and sustained revenue growth Aerogen are seeking a Global FP&A Manager to lead our highperforming Financial Planning & Analysis team based in Galway Ireland. This role will report to the Head of Finance and partner closely with Senior Business Leaders and other Finance colleagues to strengthen financial discipline deliver high impact insight and support strategic decision making across the organisation.
What are the key responsibilities
Lead the FP&A team for Aerogens Core business driving highquality financial insight and influencing decisionmaking through strong partnership with senior functional and regional leaders.
Own relevant & timely financial analyses of the business performance of Aerogen to enable real-time decisions including overseeing monthly financial P&L results in a timely manner
Responsible for developing comprehensive operational plans and strategy to support business growth and maintain optimal volume throughput cost control operations efficiency and quality.
Lead in liaison with the Finance team the annual budget and quarterly financial forecasts for Aerogens full Global P&L
Develop and maintain a long-range planning (LRP) model for Aerogen.
Influence decision making through financial data and analytics.
Present results and strategic outlook on a quarterly basis to the Aerogen Board.
Be alert to needs of the business and be proactive in providing direction and financial insights to support decision making
Promote Financial Awareness & Support: Initiate projects to support the cultivation of a culture of financial literacy to ensure strategic choices that drive sustainable growth and long-term financial success.
Risk & Opportunity Management: Assess financial risks market trends and business opportunities to support sustainable growth.
Ad hoc projects: Support the CFO/Head of Finance on ad hoc financial projects reporting and other strategic initiatives.
What education and experience are required
Professional Accountancy Qualification
Experienced people leader with a strong track record in team management and development.
Biopharma or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Relevant working experience with a commercial company with Quarterly reporting requirements
Minimum of 7 years of overall combined finance FP&A or accounting experience and people leadership
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders influencing decisions with market intelligence and data.
