ISS Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing client in Kerry for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Installer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a craftsperson who takes pride in precision quality workmanship and delivering bespoke finished products to a high standard. The role offers a mix of workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble standard and bespoke cabinetry to detailed specifications

• Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality finished products

• Select appropriate materials fittings and tools for each project

• Cut prepare and assemble components with precision

• Plan and manage workloads to ensure projects are delivered on time without compromising quality

• Carry out installations and fitting work on site as required

• Apply finishes and sealants where necessary

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met

• Carry out repairs and servicing on cabinetry when required

• Follow all health and safety procedures including proper PPE use

• Provide advice on aftercare and maintenance of finished products when needed

• Travel to project sites as part of the role

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship training programme or time served in cabinet making/joinery

• Experience in cabinet making furniture manufacturing or related trade preferred

• Ability to read and work from technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship

• Good numerical and measuring skills

• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with a strong customer-first attitude

• Willingness to travel as required

• Full and clean driving license
