Steps away from the main public transit stationWhat we offer:Highly competitive compensation package which includes base salary bonus benefits and career advancement opportunities!*Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe Opportunity:The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Documentation Team to ensure the goals and objectives of the department are particular ensure final documents are received on a timely basis from Solicitors; discharge documents are prepared accurately and according to provincial timeframes; and renewal processing and monthly reporting. How you will contribute: Ensure the team meets or exceeds the company standards for customer serviceMonitor workflow to ensure even distribution of daily workflow and timely follow up and review of documentationProvide input towards the testing of internal system enhancementsDocument policy and procedures with respect to renewal and documentation administration and update manual when requiredInvestor/insurer/management reporting as required and other duties as assignedEnsure the team has a solid understanding of company policies product knowledge and documentationProvide direction to team members on policy interpretation and Investor/Insurer procedures and guidelinesFacilitate regular team meetings to provide updates on team performance communicate change in policies and procedures and link company and department goals to individual performanceEncourage participation and feedback from team members on how to continuously improve processesIdentify team and individual performance gaps; communicate performance gaps; sets action plans and provide training to improve performanceComplete quality assurance spot checks of completed work on a monthly basisCoach employees on performance and customer service expectations providing specific training in key skill areas as necessaryParticipate in the recruitment process; screen resumes and conduct interviewsConduct annual performance reviews and set performance goals as well as conduct checkpoint meetings with individuals throughout the year as necessaryComplete special projects as assigned by ManagementThe experience you need: Post secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferredSupervisory/Management experience requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-taskDemonstrated ability to:Analyze information and make confident decisionsCreate a team environmentGive constructive feedbackLead and motivate othersSet and communicate goalsWorking Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:Office environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)Long periods of time in viewing a computer screenMulti-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer join First NationalCompetitive CompensationComprehensive benefits program (i.e. Health Spending Account Maternity and Parental Leave Top Up)Extensive training programs to set our employees up for successModern office environment conducive to collaborationSupportive teamwork cultureOpportunities to give back to the communities and work through events focused on a variety of charitiesOngoing social events throughout the yearThe team youll join: Founded in 1988 First National is one of Canadas largest non-bank lenders.
