Description of Work
The Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) is North Carolinas statewide safetynet provider delivering critical mental health developmental disability neuromedical and substance use services to individuals with the most complex needs. DSOHF operates thirteen facilities serving communities across the state and has the responsibility to ensure programs and services are effective efficient and aligned with the states commitment to provide highquality personcentered care.We are seeking a Director of Strategy to help shape the future of this essential mission. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team you will drive strategic direction strengthen system performance and lead initiatives that directly impact the wellbeing of North Carolinians who rely on stateoperated services.
In This Role you will:
Lead creation and execution of the DSOHF Strategic Plan turning vision into measurable impact.
Oversee a team that supports workforce initiatives communications stakeholder engagement and central office operations.
Build strong relationships across agencies facilities and community partners to advance shared goals.
Develop tools metrics and reporting systems that bring clarity accountability and alignment to divisionwide initiatives.
Identify opportunities that strengthen care delivery and improve outcomes for individuals served in our facilities and that help inform the system of care across NC.
Guide highpriority projects that enhance Division effectiveness and operational excellence.
Provide datadriven insights to support leadership decisions and statewide priorities.

Salary Range: $70478 - $123336
Recruitment Range: $70478 - $105000

About the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF):
The NC Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities oversees and manages 13 State Operated healthcare facilities that treat adults and children with mental illness developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. DSOHF devise statewide standards of care that are unique to each disability group and program that best meet the treatment and care needs of the populations served.

Minimum Education and Experience

Masters degree in a disciple specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in the area of assignment including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity.

Bachelors degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of experience in the area of assignment including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
