Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager & Group Leader to join our growing Mobility team in Orlando FL. This hybrid role combines project management excellence with leadership responsibilities to guide and develop a high-performing transportation group. You will manage transportation projects of varying scales and funding sources while building a collaborative team environment that drives technical excellence and strategic growth. This is a unique opportunity to advance your public sector project management skills and leadership career simultaneously.

As the Senior Transportation Project Manager & Group Leader you will:

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams in delivering highway and transportation projects including planning design (urban rural freeway interchange) right-of-way coordination and public safety with a relentless focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage all project phasesfrom scope development and budgeting to execution and final deliveryensuring alignment with client objectives and Arcadis standards.
• Collaborate with internal offices and external partners to support project success and maintain adherence to Arcadis quality safety and operational standards.
• Provide leadership mentorship and career development support to the transportation group driving a culture of continuous learning high performance and inclusive teamwork.
• Drive group strategic planning resource allocation and workload management to optimize productivity and project delivery while identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Champion business development by supporting proposals cultivating client relationships and pursuing new project opportunities within transportation and mobility markets.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration knowledge sharing and innovation within the group and broader Arcadis network; lead recruitment and retention initiatives to build and maintain a skilled diverse team.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders ensuring proactive communication effective issue resolution and alignment of project outcomes with client needs.
• Represent Arcadis at professional and community events to enhance the companys visibility and reputation within the transportation sector.

Required Qualifications:

• Florida PE License
• 15 years of progressive highway or transportation engineering design and project management experience preferably with State DOT or local municipalities.
• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering complex transportation projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active participation in regional/national transportation and engineering associations; proven success in business development and client relationship management.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $150000 - $20000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
