Director – Strategy, Asset Management Technology

The Role

The Director Technology Strategy is responsible for supporting the development articulation and governance of Fidelitys Asset Management Technology (AMT) strategy and associated multiyear technology roadmap. Reporting to the Vice President Technology Strategy this position sits within the Technology Strategy & Governance (TSG) team in Asset Management.

• Support the creation refinement and maintenance of AM Technologys multiyear technology strategy ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterpriselevel technology direction.

• Translate complex strategy content into executive briefs strategic narratives annual plans and roadmap visualsfor audiences at all levels including senior leadership and crossfunctional stakeholders.

• In partnership with the Asset Management communications team support the dissemination of strategy through executive presentations All Associate Meetings and AM Tech leadership meetings to ensure consistent understanding and alignment across AM Technology.

• Support the governance of the strategic book of work helping facilitate discussions with delivery managers on prioritization and strategic alignment of initiatives.

• Regularly engage with delivery leaders to understand evolving platform roadmaps.

• Project manage select small and complex AM Technology projects through structured problem solving data analysis and coordination with business partners.

• Demonstrated experience in technology strategy development or strategic planning at enterprise or business-unit level.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills including the ability to interpret data and form clear recommendations

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity for executive audiences

• Proven ability to influence and build trust with stakeholders across both business and technology.

• Comfort in operating in a complex matrixed organizations with evolving priorities.

• Experience in asset management or financial services technology is required.

• Familiarity with product operating models roadmap development and navigating delivery challenges.

• 1012 years of relevant experience including custom application development IT consulting MBA or equivalent preferred

The Team:

The TSG organization is responsible for defining and maintaining the AMT strategy driving effective program management and delivery practices operations and managing both discretionary and non-discretionary Enterprise Technologydriven initiatives within AMT.

This role is a key connector across Asset Management Technology ensuring strategic alignment clear communication effective execution governance and informed prioritization.
