About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to support adults in a person-centered residential setting.
This role goes beyond traditional medication administration - you will play a key role in supporting daily routines building relationships and contributing to individualized care plans that promote independence dignity and quality of life.
This is a great fit for candidates who enjoy hands-on care in a structured low-ratio environment and want to make a meaningful impact.
What Youll Do
Medication & Health Support
- Administer medications in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
- Accurately document medication administration and observations
- Monitor for side effects or changes in condition
- Support and contribute to Individual Support Plans (ISP)
Daily Living Support
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support structured daily routines in a home-like setting
- Prepare simple meals based on dietary needs
- Maintain a clean safe living environment
Relationship-Based Care
- Build meaningful relationships with residents
- Encourage independence and self-direction
- Promote dignity respect and person-centered care
Community Engagement
- Transport residents to appointments and activities
- Encourage participation in social and life-skill development
Schedule
- PRN Part-Time or Full-Time
- 1st & 2nd Shift Available
- Weekend availability required
Requirements
- Medication Technician Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Weekend availability
Preferred Experience
- Experience with IDD / developmental disabilities
- Residential or group home experience
- Behavioral health or DSP background
- Experience with PointClickCare
