Employment Type:Full-time 12 month role starting in the 2026-2027 school year.
Salary: The salary range for this role is $60450-$69550 and placement is based on prior school leadership experience.

(2) Coaching and intellectual preparation. Responsibilities include:
- conducting weekly observations coaching meetings and follow-up action planning with assigned staff
- supporting the planning and execution of 11th and 12th grade Postsecondary Success Seminars
- building staff capacity to effectively guide students and families through postsecondary planning
(3) Develop a plan to leverage existing curriculumor create new curriculum as neededto cultivate lower school students in the graduate aims (wayfinding intellectual prowess thriving in a diverse world and a reliable inner compass) ensuring students build the skills and habits necessary to successfully access their desired postsecondary pathways by senior year.
(4) Development of enrichment and community service partnerships and programs that contribute to / enhance students post-secondary readiness. Responsibilities in this domain include:
- Counseling 10th and 11th graders and families towards summer commitments that best align with areas of interest and curiosity and/or their post-secondary goals and supporting students and families through these application and aid processes.
- Piloting service days or trips in select grade-levels developing partnerships with community sites where students can earn hours and/or become consistently involved designing a comprehensive system to promote schedule and track what service opportunities and students hours.
- Identify alumni projects to test and learn from critical ingredients of experience design through implementation and where possible through smaller pilots before full implementation.
- Coordinate the process of learning from pilots and implementation and use those learnings to improve the experience design for future years
- Participate in and help lead regular meetings of network and school leaders involved in relevant experiences.
- Work closely with Valor College prep leadership and house team leaders to ensure experiences are integrated and sustainable within the overall high school design
- Enforce uphold and exhibit schools values student management policies and culture
- Own arrival duty and/or dismissal duty to support school-based needs
- You hold a Bachelors degree or higher
- You have at least 2 years of lead teaching experience as a teacher of record with evidence of being a high-performing classroom teacher in a 9-12th grade setting with strong personal development practice and/or history
- You have experience in roles that involve coordinating or facilitating meaningful experiences for high school students ideally related to rites of passage and/or post-secondary planning.
- You have experience with curriculum planning/standards based course design especially in unit based design
- You have experience or a high willingness to engage with the principles of liberatory design and research and development cycles
- You have experience with effectively implementing initiatives across and through teams of adults
- You demonstrate a track record of meeting high expectations and accomplishing goals even in the face of obstacles.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage and complete multiple projects and deadlines.
- You enjoy working as part of a collaborative team and have a strong whatever it takes mindset when it comes to accomplishing goals and objectives at work.
