University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Nurse Aide to provide quality care and support to patients in their homes in South Lyon MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities monitoring patient health and ensuring comfort and safety while fostering a positive and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene bathing dressing and grooming
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors
- Help with mobility and transferring patients safely
- Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed treatments as directed
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean safe and healthy environment for patients
- Document patient care activities and communicate with healthcare team
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or similar healthcare role is a plus but not needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with a caring attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from patient homes in South Lyon MI
- Ability to pass background checks as required
