Project Coordinator

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of large scale construction projects including earthworks road construction utilities and drainage systems
• Work closely with project managers to monitor project schedules budgets and resource allocation
• Manage communication between internal teams subcontractors vendors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks
• Review and interpret construction drawings technical documents and specifications to ensure all work complies with project requirements
• Prepare and track progress reports change orders RFIs and other project documentation
• Ensure that all work activities are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Perform site visits to monitor progress verify work quality and resolve any issues on-site
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities including material and equipment tracking
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents subcontracts and purchase orders
• Provide support to project teams by facilitating meetings ensuring proper documentation and tracking project milestones

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination specifically within the construction industry
• Proficiency in using project management software (Procore MS Project or similar) as well as Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and contracts
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams subcontractors and stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for construction projects
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field is an asset

Compensation

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
