Project Coordinator
Job Summary
We are hiring a Project Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating project activities ensuring timely completion and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with project managers contractors and subcontractors to ensure all project components are aligned and executed according to the project schedule scope and budget.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of large scale construction projects including earthworks road construction utilities and drainage systems
- Work closely with project managers to monitor project schedules budgets and resource allocation
- Manage communication between internal teams subcontractors vendors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks
- Review and interpret construction drawings technical documents and specifications to ensure all work complies with project requirements
- Prepare and track progress reports change orders RFIs and other project documentation
- Ensure that all work activities are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Perform site visits to monitor progress verify work quality and resolve any issues on-site
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities including material and equipment tracking
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents subcontracts and purchase orders
- Provide support to project teams by facilitating meetings ensuring proper documentation and tracking project milestones
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project coordination specifically within the construction industry
- Proficiency in using project management software (Procore MS Project or similar) as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and contracts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with project teams subcontractors and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for construction projects
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field is an asset
Compensation
$72900.00 - $97200.00This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience knowledge skills education and location.
