Job Summary
Leidos is looking for our next TS/SCIcleared DevOps Software Engineer to join a highenergy team building and deploying a cuttingedge technology stack in support of the DIANMEC (National Media Exploitation Center) DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP). This role is part of a 10year program supporting the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) Modernization effort where youll contribute to missioncritical capabilities alongside a collaborative innovative and growthoriented team.
While the majority of work is performed onsite at our customer location in Bethesda MD we offer a flexible schedule and occasional opportunities for remote work.
What Youll Do
As a DevOps Software Engineer youll help design deploy and maintain a fullstack containerized microservices architecture. Youll also support systems administration installation configuration and the broader adoption of DevOps best practices across crossfunctional engineering this fastpaced environment youll collaborate closely with systems engineering architecture development security operations and integration teams.
You will work with a multidisciplinary group of developers integrators and system administrators to:
Deploy triage and maintain a production bigdata pipeline built on Kubernetes Elasticsearch and Kafka
Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability
Design and support scalable redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments
Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements
Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities
Contribute technical input to engineering documentation diagrams and models
Participate in Agile release planning scrums design sessions bug triage and related team activities
What You Bring
Youre enthusiastic collaborative and comfortable working with teammates across a range of technical backgrounds. You also meet the following qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Systems Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Masters
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
Strong Linux proficiency
Handson experience with containers and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab
Familiarity with Elasticsearch Logstash and Kibana
Demonstrated success working in crossfunctional engineering environments

Experience operating systems at scale
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Development experience (Bash PowerShell SALT Python Groovy Java etc.)
Experience supporting enterprise or production systems
Familiarity with:
Kafka or other messaging systems (AMQP JMS)
Kubernetes monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana)
GPUbased Kubernetes

Pay Range $107900.00 - $195050.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
