This position is responsible for providing front-line customer service to visitors and patrons and processing program registrations.
OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE
Greets walk-in traffic. Answers phone calls and handles appropriately. Answers questions about the organization its facilities and programs. Directs patrons to rooms and events.
Registers completes refunds and transfers requests for customers for programs events and membership passes using computer system.
Books rentals for rooms facility usage and field houses.
Accepts payments and processes transactions.
Balances daily work deposits (cash checks credit cards) for all areas including front desk and also open gym and indoor pool.
Issue and process field house permits and key deposits.
Sorts & distributes internal & external mail.
Crosstrain to work as a venue supervisor for rentals and events.
Troubleshoots customer service issues that may arise including use of website registration.
Responds to emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college strongly preferred. Will consider significant and material experience in lieu of formal education. At least 3 years relevant experience desired.
SCHEDULING & PAY: This is a part time year-round hourly (non-exempt) position.
Weekday morning shifts Mon Fri; 8:45am-2:00pm
Weekend shifts Saturday 8:45am 3:30pm
Opportunity for additional hours through rentals and shift coverage.Target hiring range is $17-$19 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
