Dimensional Inspector 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-330pm

JOB SUMMARY

As part of our recent growth we are seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will conduct dimensional inspection of machined parts for aerospace and commercial customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assure machined/assembled/formed parts meet the drawing document and customer requirements.

Dimensional inspection of assemblies and components including aircraft hardware standards.

Perform first part and in process inspections at the shop floor level

Ability to develop a working knowledge of Skills Quality system and related procedures.

Has a working knowledge of non-conforming materials and procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Thorough understanding of aerospace and commercial drawings parts lists and associated documents

Familiarity with aerospace requirements for assembly components and assembly procedures

Familiarity with Boeing Aerospace Company specifications

Use of aerospace dimensional inspection measuring equipment

Basic familiarity with Windows based PCs and related applications especially MS Office

Knowledge of and ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read write and communicate in English through verbal communication American Sign Language or adaptive technology

SALARY PAY RANGE

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. We have four lines of business; Aerospace Manufacturing Aerospace Finishing Technical Services and Business Solutions that operate in 2 locations. Salary Range: $18.00-$30.00
