Software Engineer

• Pay:$61$67 per hour Super Duration:12-month contract (potential for extension)
• Hours:MondayFriday rotating roster between 8:00am6:00pm 40 hrs per week

What you will be required to do:

Join a high-performing ICT delivery team building secure scalable government digital solutions across multiple enterprise initiatives. You will develop modern cloud-native applications across backend and frontend stacks support API-led integration and contribute to secure DevOps and delivery best practices in an agile environment.

• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs
• Develop React frontends aligned with accessibility standards
• Integrate internal and third-party systems across Azure/cloud services
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD quality gates
• Produce documentation release notes and operational handover materials

To be successful in the role you will:

• 10 years building secure full-stack web applications and React
• Strong Azure cloud engineering experience incl. App Services Functions SQL
• Expertise in REST API design OpenAPI/Swagger OAuth2/OIDC API security
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Baseline security clearance at commencement required
