Job Description:

Were working with a Building Control provider inHertfordshireto recruit aRegistered Building Inspectorwith a minimum ofClass 2A registration. This flexible contract opportunity is ideal for RBIs seeking adomestic-focused caseload with the option to take oncommercial inspectionsif youre more experienced.

Whether youre newly Class 2A or a seasoned inspector youll be supported by a professional team and have access to varied and ongoing work in a well-organised region.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on domestic residential projects across Hertfordshire
• Ensure compliance withBuilding Regulationsand relevant legislation
• Record findings and complete inspection reports accurately and promptly
• Liaise with site teams developers and internal staff
• Offer technical guidance in line with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Registered Building Inspector (Class 2A or higher) Class 2B 2C or 2F welcome
• Previous experience inBuilding Control either public or private sector
• Working knowledge ofUK Building Regulations
• Strong communication organisational and technical reporting skills
• Ability to manage your own workload effectively and work independently
