Job Summary
We are currently looking for a reliable hardworking Yard Labourer / Equipment Operator to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working outdoors operating equipment assisting with general yard duties and responding to on-call maintenance needs as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer and telehandler safely and efficiently
- Load unload move and organize materials in the yard
- Tow trailers and move equipment as needed
- Assist with general yard upkeep and housekeeping
- Perform basic building and property maintenance
- Support shop and yard operations where needed
- Be available for on-call yard and building maintenance when required
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience operating skid steer and telehandler
- Comfortable towing trailers and maneuvering equipment safely
- General mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable punctual and willing to help wherever needed
- Physically capable of lifting moving materials and working in a labour-intensive environment
- Valid drivers license required
- Experience with general maintenance is considered an asset
