Job Summary
$2500 Sign-On Bonus (per diem; requires meeting minimum hours per agreement)
Schedule: Per Diem Flexible Scheduling Three (3) shifts per calendar month Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected Two (2) holidays per year.

What Youll Do:
Join a 5-Star retirement community on a beautiful 58-acre campus with a rich history of excellence in senior care and a truly supportive team culture. The Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats individuals with speech language voice and fluency impairments as part of in-house rehab services in SNF Assisted Living Memory Care and Independent Living.

The Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats individuals with speech language voice and fluency impairments as part of in-house rehab services in SNF Assisted Living Memory Care and Independent Living.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs hearing and/or speech and language examinations.
- Evaluates hearing and /or speech and language test results.
- Evaluates barium swallow other test results and overall medical background.
- Diagnoses patients and formulates treatment plans.
- Educate patients and family members about the various communication methods to cope with impairment.
- Writes reports and maintains client information.
- Performs administrative responsibilities: coordinates paperwork writes lesson plans schedules case management activities and performs record-keeping for administrative billing and caseload purposes.
- Develops individual and/or group activities and/or programs.
- Participates in the planning and implementing of individualized educational planning (IEP) meetings in-service meetings or intervention assistance team meetings.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Graduate of an accredited Therapy program
- Current Speech Therapist state license
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance
- 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
