Team Overview
Our Research & Development (R&D) team is the technical talent at the heart of our product suite overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to delivery. Responsibilities
About the Internship
Are you a Computer Science student interested in Artificial Intelligenceand realworld software development Join our engineering team at a leading K12 education technology SaaS company where youll work on production software used by schools educators and administrators across the country.
In this role youll use your Computer Science foundation and interest in Artificial Intelligence to tackle real complex technical challenges. Youll be encouraged to think creatively experiment and propose new approaches as you:
- Explore how AI techniques(e.g. automation LLMs dataassisted decisionmaking or intelligent workflows) can improve software functionality and developer productivity
- Prototype and test new ideas learning through iteration and feedback
- Contribute fresh perspectives and innovative solutions as part of a collaborative engineering team
What Youll Do
As a Software Developer Intern youll:
- Work alongside experienced software engineers on a cloudbased SaaS platform
- Help design build and test new software features
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Assist with prototyping and exploring AIpowered features and tools
- Gain experience with modern development workflows and best practices

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degreein Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Coursework or experience in programming fundamentals (data structures algorithms OOP)
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence machine learning or AIassisted development
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts LLMs or datadriven projects
- Willingness to learn collaborate and take feedback

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $74000 - $92500 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures degrees and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
