Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Reading PA facility. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety quality operational performance and long-term profitability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead a team of approximately 50 employees and partner cross-functionally with engineering maintenance sales and scheduling to optimize production and deliver results.

What You Will Do

Lead daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety quality and efficiency
Provide leadership and direction to supervisors engineers technicians and production staff
Develop and execute operational plans that support business objectives and profitability
Partner with Sales and Scheduling to align production with customer demand
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety quality cost and delivery
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead troubleshooting of quality and production issues
Champion safety initiatives housekeeping standards and 5S practices
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and operational standards
Establish and communicate performance metrics to monitor and improve operational effectiveness
Lead and support projects that enhance capacity efficiency and overall manufacturing performance

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership or management
Strong leadership experience managing teams in a production environment
Background in plastics or related manufacturing industries preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive results through problem solving and decision making
Solid understanding of industrial equipment and mechanical systems
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
