Heavy Industrial Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
STV is seekingexperiencedProject Managers(PM)to oversee aheavy industrial construction projectsintheRhode Island andConnecticut area.
These positions require a successful completion of a background check. The PM(s)will beon-site daily working closely with theclients facilities maintenance staff upper management designer and general contractor. This role requires excellent communicationcoordination between primary stakeholders programleadership and financial oversightto ensure the project aligns with the owners vision schedule quality and budget. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with all MS products is necessary. Experience with PMIS systems is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily on-site presenceto manage all aspects of the construction process and ensure seamless coordination between the owner designer and general contractor.
- Serve as theprimary liaisonwith the client includingmaintenance staff senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Ensure thegeneral contractors execution aligns with the owners vision tracking project progress financials and compliance.
- Create and maintain a master project schedule
- Must be familiar with OSHA safety protocols and maintain OSHA 10 certification as a minimum. OSHA 30 Preferred (must have active card)
- Overseedesign and build executionin an existing operatingindustrial environment ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standardswhile executing production factory expansion.
- Providefinancial and schedule oversight ensuring timely reporting and accurate budget tracking.
- Communicate and enforceheavy industrial project requirementson an existing campus ensuringquality assurance quality controlsandconstructionefficiencystandards.
- Navigate challenges associated withconstruction in remote areas including logistics labor availability and supply chain issues.
- UtilizeBIM Procore and Microsoft programsto track progress manage documents and streamline workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experienceinheavy industrial construction project management.
- Proven track record ofdelivering large-scale industrial projectson time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge ofdesign/build project execution particularly in industrial settings.
- Experience managing projects inremote or rural locations with a deep understanding of related challenges.
- Exceptionalcommunication and leadership skills with the ability to align multiple stakeholders.
- Accreditation or certification inPMP CCM DBIApreferred.
- Proficiency inProcore and Microsoft Office Suite (or ability and willingness to learn).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Connecticutand Rhode Islandconstruction laws and industrial regulations.
- Strong financial acumen andcost control expertisefor industrial-scale projects.
- Ability to adapt tofast-paced high-pressure environmentsin industrial construction.
- Superior inter-personal communication skills with an ability to work well with others to suggest solutions to complicated problems as they arise.
- This will not be an 8:00 to 5:00 five days per week program. Candidate is expected to be available as needed for successful outcomes.
Compensation Range:
