The Role
We are seeking a high-impactOutreach Coordinatorto serve as the face of our organization in the local market. You will be the primary link between our programs and the surrounding community fostering trust and building strong relationships with referral partners families and individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to increase awareness of our services and programs.
- Relationship Building: Identify develop and maintain partnerships with local hospitals schools first responders and other community organizations.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage community training education sessions and signature recovery events (e.g. job fairs health expos).
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the organization at public forums and task force meetings to advocate for clients and our mission.
- Resource Navigation: Provide guidance resources and face-to-face assistance to individuals seeking help for substance use issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Social Work Psychology Communications or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 12 years of experience in community outreach marketing or substance use disorder (SUD) treatment preferred.
- Lived Experience: Candidates with personal recovery experience are encouraged to apply (minimum 2 years of continuous recovery required if applicable).
- Skills: Strong public speaking persuasive communication and the ability to work independently with drive and enthusiasm.
- Requirements: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for local travel.
