Manager Industrial Controlling

Position Overview

The Manager Industrial Controlling is responsible for managing daytoday financial controlling activities for industrial operations with a strong focus on cost transparency accurate reporting and operational support. This role partners closely with plant leadership and functional teams to ensure financial discipline reliable data and execution of standard controlling processes.

The Manager operates with a handson executionfocused mindset supporting operational decisions while ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Industrial Controlling & Financial Execution

• Manage budgeting forecasting and variance analysis for assigned industrial or plant operations.
• Oversee plantlevel cost controlling including cost centers overhead absorption inventory valuation scrap and productivity KPIs.
• Support monthly close activities ensure reconciliations and prepare accurate financial reporting packages.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS and internal controls within assigned scope.

Operational Support

• Partner with plant managers and functional leaders to support cost management and operational performance.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and operational drivers; escalate risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support capital expenditure tracking and postinvestment performance reviews.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy efficiency and standardization.
• Support lean cost optimization or system improvement initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain strong documentation and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Team & Collaboration

• May mentor junior analysts or indirect reports.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally but operates primarily within defined processes and governance.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Engineering or related field.
• 57 years of experience in Controlling FP&A or Industrial Finance.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong cost accounting and variance analysis skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and reporting tools.
• Detailoriented executionfocused and reliable.
• Effective communicator with plantlevel stakeholders.

What we offer

The salary range for this position is $120000 - $150000 Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to educations skills work experience certifications etc. Beyond base salary Diasorin offers a competitive rewards package focused on your overall well-being.
