The team brings together experts across Enterprise IT Classified IT and Cybersecurity to build and maintain the secure reliable infrastructure that powers our organization.

Our Enterprise IT team ensures the performance and availability of the systems that support day-to-day operations while our Classified IT team manages highly secure environments that protect sensitive government information. Working alongside them our Cybersecurity team proactively defends our networks and systems against evolving threats. Together these teams provide the technology foundation that enables STRs engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions for national defense.

The Role:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator with an active Secret or Top Secret clearanceto support our senior administrators in implementing deploying and maintaining Linux (Red Hat Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems in traditional and virtualized environments across a variety of hardware solutions.

What you will Do:

• Professionally support senior administrators Information System Security Officers (ISSO) management researchers and others supporting the customers
• Configure and maintain NAS Storage Networking Firewall and Directory Services such as MS Active Directory management and Group Policy administration
• Perform performance monitoring results analysis and enhancement as well as process automation using PowerShell scripting and other available technologies
• Provide daily support systems maintenance problem resolution tracing and project support
• Create and maintain installation and configuration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain current knowledge of DoD security and technical guidelines and the organizations policies
• Provide support for production and development environments
• After-hours support is required for maintenance and patching when needed

Who you Are:

• This position requires an active Secret or Top Secret security clearance for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government
• Linux Administration (Red Hat Ubuntu)
• Windows OS Administration

• Current knowledge of DoD Ports Protocols and Services (PPS)

Education:

Bachelors degree 5years of experience or Masters degree 3 years of experience or PhD or equivalent experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $105000 to $125000

The salary range listed is based on external market data. Offers are based on factors such as but not limited to the candidates experience education training key skills/critical skills security clearances and prevailing market and business conditions.
