About the Role
Boston Medical Center Brighton is seeking an experiencedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto join our Cardiac Surgery team in a fully outpatient-focused role. You will care for both preoperative and postoperative patients support offsite clinics 12 times per month and work closely with a highly collaborative team of APPs surgeons and office staff.
This is an opportunity to practice at the top of your license and make a meaningful impact in a busy highperforming cardiac surgery program.
What Youll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including histories and physical exams.
- Order and interpret labs imaging and diagnostic studies.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding procedures recovery and care plans.
- Document all clinical encounters in EPIC within required timeframes.
- Support patient flow and coordination of care including admissions and specialty consults.
- Work collaboratively with APP colleagues surgeons and office staff in a fastpaced environment.
- Participate in off-site outpatient clinics 12 times monthly.
What Were Looking For
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant withat least 2 years of Cardiac Surgery experience.
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
- Licensed (or licenseeligible) in Massachusetts.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to remain calm in urgent situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation Range:
$109000.00- $158000.00This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
