The Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room is hiring a part-time seasonal Beertender/Tour Guide to join our team! This role is all about creating unforgettable first impressions-welcoming guests sharing our story and delivering exceptional craft beer experiences.

Compensation

• $16$17/hour (DOE)
• Tip pool (averaging an additional $4$7/hour depending on season)

What Youll Do

• Create a welcoming fun and memorable experience for every guest
• Pour and serve draft beer while showcasing our portfolio
• Lead engaging informative brewery tours and tastings
• Share the Deschutes Brewery story culture and product knowledge
• Maintain a clean organized and inviting tasting room and entrance
• Stock and merchandise retail products with attention to presentation
• Complete opening and closing duties (cleaning restocking cash handling etc.)
• Ensure smooth and efficient service including accurate cash handling
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with laws and company policies
• Perform front desk duties including answering phones directing calls to appropriate departments and greeting/checking in guests vendors and contractors
• Support a respectful inclusive and team-oriented workplace

What Were Looking For

• A friendly outgoing and team-oriented personality
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking to groups (up to 20 people)
• Ability to stay calm energetic and professional in a busy environment
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Reliable and punctual-consistency is key
• Passion for craft beer and eagerness to learn
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Valid OLCC Servers Permit at time of hire
• Food Handlers Certification (within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Availability for evenings and weekends (required)
