Job Description:
TheAssociateBusinessOpsassistsin theimplementingandmaintainingof media campaigns and financial stewardship across multiple channels.As an entry level position theAssociatepositionrepresentsthe start of a media careerand is supervised by aSr.Associate.
This position is essential in the day-to-day tacticaland billingmanagement ofcampaignsand requires an individual that works well in a team-basedfast paced detail-oriented environment.Whilepriorknowledge of/work experience inMedia is not the successfulAssociateis resourceful anddemonstratesthe initiative toparticipatein advanced projects.
TheAssociateposition istraining-intensive.Aptitude and eagerness for learning new skills (both technical and organic) and proceduresisessential.TheAssociateis expected to be an active participant increasing participation over time in the position.TheAssociateis also encouraged to contribute ideas and insights that willbenefitour clients.
As part of theBusiness OperationsteamtheAssociateis to steward the operations process across all channelsand works very closely with assignedBusiness OperationsSr.Associateclientin-houseteamFinanceOperationsandotherteams when applicable
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Business OperationsandMedia Execution:
WorkswithBusinessOps Associateteam tomanage all updates to budgets flighting and other campaign revisions as received by client
AssistsSr.Associates in monthly campaign actualizations and billing reconciliation process
Understands intricacies of variousad-serving partners
Maintainsinternally usedtrackingdocumentation
Workswith DigitalMedia Tech teamto ensure flawless implementationof tagging and trafficking requirements asnecessitatedby the campaign
Understands general activation capabilities of all availablemedia tactics
Client & Internal Relationships:
SupportsSr.Associates in preparing and deliveringwork to clients and colleagues
Attends all status meetings when appropriate
Maintainsday-to-dayconsultation withSr.Associatewhenbuy details are concerned (rates/costs launch timeline etc.)
Is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems/issues by staff and team
Buildspositive relationships with internal and external teams
Engages with all work-related contacts in a professional and respectful manner
Possesses mature and professional business acumen in written communications
Strategic Thinking & Leadership:
Assessesproblems and concerns in a systematiclogicaland rational manner
Proactively resolvesissuesand knows when to escalatetoSr.Associate
Providesguidance to team members to nurture/promote team environment
Maybe responsible forconstructing and deliveringaccuratehonestandtimelyperformance management documentsi.e.monthly actualization
Capable of managing multiple deliverablesand ability to seamlesslytransition among them
Demonstrates active listening skills and ability to apply learning over time
Communications Skills:
Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
Writes in a clear compellingandsuccinctmanner
Organizes ideas and information logically and sequentially
Ensureskey information is provided toteamregardingclient issues internal agency issues etc.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree
0-2years ofindustry experience
Experience and knowledge of PrismaMediaoceanapplicationaplus
Strong interest in the media industry
Proficientandaccuratewith numbers and budgets
Ability to generate and present well-considered solutions
Thrives in a fast pace constantly changing environment
Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively
Advanced computer skills (MS Word Excel PowerPoint)
DEVELOPMENT GOALSExperience needed toproceedto the next level:
Demonstratedpassion and curiosity for Media
Capable of developing and presenting error-free compellingpersuasiveand innovative client presentations/POVs
Proficient knowledge of applicable media software/tools
Demonstrated strong eye/attention to detail
Participation in at least one full planning cycle and implementation of at least two media plans
Demonstrated ability to generate and present well-considered ideas and solutions
Ability tomaintainteam member andclientrelationships
Motivation toparticipatein staff management and larger agency development
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
Canadapt to changes in clientobjectives priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
Leadership capability demonstrated
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
Additional Information:
The annual salary range for this position is $39000-$40000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law.
