Job Title: RN Nurse Educator (MCH: L&D / NICU / Pediatrics)
Shift: Day Shift (07:30 AM 04:00 PM) 40 hrs/week
Location: Brooklyn NY 11206 United States
Contract: 14 Weeks (Travel Assignment No Extension)
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to support Maternal Child Health (MCH) units including Labor & Delivery NICU Mother-Baby and Pediatrics. Role focuses on staff education competency development clinical support and promoting evidence-based patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver staff education in-services and competency training across MCH units
- Support onboarding mentoring and ongoing clinical development
- Serve as a clinical resource and promote best practices
- Identify learning needs and support quality improvement initiatives
- Provide cross-unit coverage across L&D NICU MBU and Pediatrics
Requirements:
- 2 years Med-Surg experience
- 2 years Labor & Delivery experience (required)
- Strong Maternal Child Health background
- Prior teaching/education experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Education & Licensure:
- ADN/ASN required; BSN/MSN preferred
- Active NY RN License NYSED verification
- AHA BLS certification required
